I began studying the Akashic Records with Helen Vonderheide in sunny Pasadena back in early 2019 when she was still an Elite Teacher in Dr. Linda Howe’s Lineage. During our time studying in The Records together, we would dream of what it would be like if we could figure out a way to access our Records without having to use this very specific pathway prayer process that Dr. Howe taught as the only way to access the Akashic Records. Well, a few years later I got a call from Helen wanting to catch up after the global pandemic forced us both to relocate out of California (she to Baltimore and me to Colorado Springs). She wanted to tell me that she had been working diligently in her Records and that her guides had downloaded a new course and curriculum that would allow each person to craft their own Pathway into the Akashic Records for themselves! Finally! No more cookie-cutter pathways! After gleefully participating in the 13-month Teacher Training pilot program I am over the moon excited to teach everyone this new and revolutionary coursework! 

After my spiritual awakening in 2017, I wanted to dive into learning all the spiritual healing modalities that my Soul felt called to - since there were so many that interested me, I thought I’d start by learning Usui Reiki. I got certified in Usui Reiki Levels 1 and 2 first, then returned later that year for my Masters’ Certification. I studied Usui Reiki with Lizzie Rose Reiss in Hermosa Beach. 

I’ve always been looking for a spiritual path to call my own; never satisfied with my Chicago family’s Irish/Roman Catholic beliefs. I began seeking the basis of my spiritual beliefs at a young age. I started reading Tarot in the 8th grade at about 13/14 years old. Since it totally freaked out my family, I learned to keep my spiritual discoveries to myself. To keep myself safe, I chose to disengage from my abilities and try to ‘fit in’ and find a ‘real job’. Spoiler alert: that never works! I went to school to study Television Writing at Columbia College Chicago. There was a Semester in LA program at my school that I thought would be the perfect fit - I quickly discovered that Hollywood’s energy was not at all compatible with my own. After struggling for years in LA trying to find any job to keep me afloat I was absolutely miserable. To take back control of my life I sought out a Master’s Degree in Psychology. I thought I wanted to become a talk therapist and help people that way. I got about halfway through the 3-year program and discovered that I didn’t like the way that they were advising us to treat our clients (very pigeon holey/pushing medications no matter what, which felt gross to me and I knew I wouldn’t be able to practice that way once I graduated and established my therapeutic practice). 

I discovered that via my spiritual gifts, I could reach similar soul depths as can be reached in talk therapy, so I decided to start my spiritual guidance business and strike out on my own for the first time in my life. It is both terrifying and thrilling in the same breath.  I accepted my first paying Reiki client in 2018 and have been grooving in Universal energies ever since! I love waxing spiritual whenever I can, and totally nerd out on others’ spiritual journeys and experiences! It brings me so much joy to witness people discovering their soul’s purpose.

The modalities that I learned in my own growth process are exactly what I offer in sessions with clients. I know these techniques work because I implement them in my daily life, and I use them to improve the lives of my clients as well.
